Olivia Hathaway Swanson earned her BA in theatre and communications from Manhattanville College in Purchase, New York, graduating in 2023. In addition to her dual degrees, she completed double minors in musical theatre and dance. During her time at Manhattanville, she earned honors in theatre and in communication, served as a campus tour guide and admissions worker, and was recognized as a CLARK Community Service Scholar from 2019 to 2023, completing sixty hours of community service annually.

Ms. Swanson became the youngest choreographer ever hired by the College Light Opera Company, a milestone that reflects both her talent and professional maturity. In 2025, she was selected to direct a full-scale musical, further expanding her responsibilities to include leadership of large-scale productions and creative direction.
